Vizag Steel Plant Recruitment 2013: The very first shore based PSU, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is known as Vizag Steel. It comes under Ministry of Steel. Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited is still a Navratna of Government of India. Vizag Steel Plant Recruitment 2013 Details

Vide advertisement number 11/2012: Vizag invites application from Indian Nationals to fil1 21 vacancies of operator-cum-mechanic on a pay scale of Rs.9160-3%-13150. Only male candidates can apply for these posts. Duty of selected candidates will involve 3 rotational shifts. CTC to company will be Rs. 3.53 Lakh per annum including basic pay, DA, CA, HRA, free medical facility, CPF and gratuity etc. Candidates seeking job on above posts should check their qualification and experience required before applying online.
  

Who can Apply? Eligibility Criteria 

A candidate applying for Vizag Steel Plant Recruitment 2013 operator-cum-mechanic post should have SSC/Matric with and ITI or engineering diploma certificate from a recognized institute/board/university.
 
Candidates should have valid Heavy motor driving license issued by RTO of concerned state. Apart from qualification, candidates should also need to have experience of minimum three years in operating/handling of materials and equipments.
  
 A relaxation of half year in experience will be given to candidates of SC/ST/OBC category. They need to produce only 2-1/2 years experience.

The maximum Age limit as on 1-12-2012 for the above post is:
35 Years for unreserved category
38 Years for OBC
40 Years for SC/ST category

About Recruitment Process

Selection of candidates will be done after written test, job test and an interview. These exams will be taken at Vishakhahpatnam.
  
Candidates will not be paid for their travel cost incurred by them for written examination. However, after qualifying written examination, candidates appearing for job test and interview will be reimbursed for rail fare of shortest route in sleeper class. Candidates also need to submit fare proof to get reimbursed for the amount expend on travel.

How to Apply?

Only online application will be accepted from candidates seeking job on above post. Candidates need to log on to website www.vizagsteel.com and click on button career. They need to click on link “Recruitment of Operator-cum-mechanic”. Now candidates require downloading challan from website and paying Rs. 300 fees in “RINL Recruitment Account Number 30589461220” at any branch of SBI.
  
After depositing fees and taking receipt of payment, candidates need to fill online form carefully. They also need to upload their scanned photograph of prescribed size and format along with signature. Once candidate will fill all details, they need to click on submit button to take printout of registration slip. Registration slip will contain unique registration number, photograph and signature along with other details.
  
Online registration will open from 20-12-2012 to 10-01-2013. Last date of application is 10-01-2013. Email Id provided during registration will be used for any further correspondence with candidates. Candidates can check status of admit card etc on website www.vizagsteel.com from 4 Feb. 2013 onwards.
