Introduction : Indian Trust Bank for Rural development is looking for hiring support staff for their 12 Indian Bank self employment training institutes (INDSETI). This engagement is on contractual basis for two years and can renewed on basis of performance. Indian bank self employment training institutes are located at Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, , Salem, , Tiruvallur, Vellore, Villupuram (TamilNadu), Puducherry (U T of Puducherry) and Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh).   Indian Trust Bank of Rural development is hiring Faculty and office assistants for each of the 12 centers. These are 12 posts for position of faculty and 12 for office assistant.

Indian Bank Recruitment Details

Eligibility :
Faculty Post:

• Candidate should be less than 65 years of age.
• He or she should have obtained Masters in commerce or Science or should be a M.A in Rural Development or Psychology or Sociology.
• Individuals who have obtained a degree in Agriculture & allied subjects can also apply for the same.
• Competitors should have work experience of 3 to 5 years in the field of teaching, social work or rural development. 
• Applicant should have a flair for teaching.
• Interested candidates should be proficient in English and local language. Excellent communication skills are an added advantage.
• Interested individuals should have the knowledge of MS Office, email and internet.

Office Assistant

• Candidate should be less than 65 years of age with good health.
• He or she should have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in social work, Arts, Commerce or Science.  Individuals with knowledge of basic accounting will be preferred. 
• Competitors should have work experience of 2 to 3 years in the field banking or Accounting.
• Applicant should have good communication skills.  
• Interested candidates should be proficient in English and local language.  
• Interested individuals should have the knowledge of MS Office, email and internet.

Remuneration

•  Payout for post of Faculty is Rs 15,000 per month. No additional allowances will be offered.
• Payout for post of Office assistant is Rs 10,000 per month. No additional allowances will be offered.

Application Process
Interested individuals can download the application format from www.indianbank.in . Application should contain details like full name, correspondence address, permanent address, tenure of residence, contact number and educational qualifications. All applications must contain a passport size photograph of the person applying. Photocopies of educational qualifications must be attached with the application form. Applications should be sent via post or registered post to the Indian Bank self employment training institute.
 
Shortlisted applicants will be intimated about the date and venue of the personal interview via a call letter.

Last date for receipt of applications is 30.4.2013

Other Terms

• Recruitment for faculty and office assistant is on contractual basis for period of two years. Employment shall come to an end after the contractual period expires.
• Indian Trust Bank for Rural development can renew the contract on basis of performance.
• Contract can be terminated before its expiry on grounds of non-performance, misconduct or any other reason deemed to fit by Indian Trust Bank of Rural development.
• Candidates who wish to disengage themselves from post of Faculty or Office Assistant need to give a one month written notice.
