Rajasthan Public Service Commission has issued a notification inviting applications for post of veterinary officers. Rajasthan public service commission is intending to fill in 350 vacancies for this post. They are also recruiting 14 geologists during this drive. Please note that Rajasthan Public Service Commission will accept no other mode of application. You will need to visit www.rpsconline.rajasthan.gov.in in order to fill an online application. Click on the link that speaks about recruitment drive for veterinary officer and geologist. You will need to fill in your personal details, contact details and educational details on the form. Please mention an active email address in the application. Click on submit. You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your application. You will also receive another email containing your login id and password. Retain this email for future use.
Selection Process
All the eligible applicants will need to appear for a competitive written test in order to get selected for the posts. Examination will be of objective type and it will be tentatively held in the month of July 2013. Individuals can download the admit card online 15 days prior to the date of examination.
RPSC Veterinary Officer Exam Details
Examination for recruiting veterinary officers and geologists will be conducted in Ajmer in July 2013. Candidates will be allotted centers chosen by them in the registration form or the areas closes to the centers preferred by them. Exam is objective in nature. It will judge candidates knowledge on communication, logic and reasoning, and their specialization (animal husbandry / geology).
Candidates will be selected on merit basis. Interested applicants can find the detailed syllabus on the official website of Rajasthan Public service commission RPSC.

Individuals who are keen on applying for the position of veterinary officer should fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements for the same.
- Age Limit: Candidate should not be less than 20 years and should not be more than 37 years at the time of the application.
- Educational Qualification: candidate should possess Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary science or Animal husbandry. Individuals who possess an equivalent degree from a recognized institute can also apply for the same.
- Candidate should have working knowledge of Hindi/ Devnagari. They should be well versed with Rajasthan culture.
- Age Limit: Applicant should not be less than 20 years or more than 42 years at the time of the application.
- Educational Qualification: Applicant should have obtained a Post Graduate degree in Geology or Applied Geology. OR
- Applicant should have completed his Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology Dhanbad or should have a qualification declared equivalent by the Govt.
- Candidate should have working knowledge of Hindi/ Devnagari. They should be well versed with Rajasthan culture.
