All of us want to achieve great heights in life and get there really fast too. However, a majority of us fail to realize our career dreams because we are too lazy to plan it.   1. Try and be innovative all the time- Every organization loves a creative person who does not shy away from a challenge. Try and be innovative all the time and look for creative solutions to problems. It improves your chances of faster promotions in an organization.
     
  2. Improve your people skills- There is no industry out there where you do not have to deal with people. Organizations are always on the lookout for employees with people skills. Work on your communication skills and putting tact in the way you say things.
     
  3. Learn to negotiate salaries- Money is not everything in life. However, you feel less motivated when you feel you are not being paid the right amount. Learn to negotiate with your perspective employers. While doing so, don’t come across as someone who is greedy for money, but don’t settle for too less either.
