ONGC Recruitment 2013 details
Applications are invited from eligible candidates in ONGC as per notification date March 08,2013 to fill various vacancies in WOU. Only candidates who have registration in Employment Exchanges of Maharashtra state before closing date of online application can apply. All the details regarding qualification of candidates required for recruitment should be registered in Employment Exchange.There are vacancies on three post levels. These levels are A-II level (Pay scale Rs.12000-27000), A-I level (pay scale Rs.11000-24000) and W-1 level (Pay scale Rs.10000- 18000). Other benefits associated with salary includes DA, HRA, EPF makes salary approx Rs. 30000/ month of A-II Level post. Out of total 309 vacant posts in A-II Level vacancies are for Assistant Technicians (236 posts) in trades (Electrical, Mechanical, Production, Instrumentation, Chemistry, Electronics, Boiler), Marine Radio Assistant Gd.III (34 posts), Assistant Rigman (Drilling)(33 posts), Assistant Gd.III(Materials Management)(2 posts), Nurse Grade –III (1 post) and Assistant Gd.III (Accounts) (3 posts). Similarly there are 149 vacancies on various posts in A-I level and 5 in W-I Level posts.
Eligibility Criteria
Age:- Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum should not exceed 30 years (General), 33 years (OBC ) and 35 years (SC/ST) as on 5-4-2013.
- A three year diploma in respective trade is required from candidates applying for A-II level posts along with experience. For more details on educational qualification of each post please refer to notification.
- Selection will be made on basis of written test, physical test and personal interview. Written test will be of objective questions paper consisting of 150 marks (A-II Level) and 120 Marks (A-I &W1 level). Each question will carry one marks. There is no negative marking. Candidates need to qualify in written exam, interview, and other tests to get appointment in ONGC.

Interested candidates should visit official website www.ongcindia.com and click on link “Recruitment 01/2013, WOU, Mumbai under career section. Candidates need to take printout of challan for filling application fees of Rs. 300 (General/obc) or Rs. 100 (reserved categories) with SBI bank. After paying fees, candidates can fill online application.It is necessary to provide valid email Id to receive mails regarding recruitment. After successful submission of form, a Unique registration number will be generated. Candidates should take printout of same. Admit cards will be available to download from ONGC website.
Also candidates need to send registration slip along with other necessary documents, challan through ordinary post to address The Advertiser (ONGC), Post Box No. –9248, Nagar Head Post Office , Delhi –110051 latest by 12-04-2013. Candidates can fill application form from 14-03-2103 to 5-04-2013. Tentative date of written exam is 28-04-2013.
