BHEL Recruitment 2012- 2013 details
BHEL has notified about the recruitment process that it is going to conduct for the selection of suitable candidates for the post of Engineer Trainees. The total number of vacancies that BHEL has notified is 500 Engineer Trainees.
These total vacancies have been divided on the basis of the various disciplines of the designation in the organization. Out of the 500 vacancies for Engineer Trainees that BHEL has notified about, 300 vacancies are meant for the Engineer Trainees for Mechanical discipline, 150 vacancies are for Engineer Trainees in Electrical discipline and 50 vacancies are for Engineer Trainees in Electronics discipline.
The selected candidates will initially have to undergo training for a period of 1 year. The candidates will be confirmed only if they perform well enough during the tenure of their training in the organization. The basic salary that they will receive during their training period is Rs. 20600 and the pay scale would be Rs. 20600 – 46500. Apart from this, the candidates will get various benefits and allowances as per the provisions. After the candidates will be confirmed subsequent to their training period, they will be absorbed as Engineers in the organization. After the training period, the pay scale that the candidates would receive will be Rs. 24900 – 50500, where the basic salary would be Rs. 24900. Industrial Dearness Allowance, Perks and others allowances admissible under the Company Rules will be payable to the candidates as per instructions by the organizational authorities.
The selected candidates will have to comply to a service agreement bond with the organization (BHEL) to serve the company for a period of 3 years after the completion of their training. The amount for the bond is Rs. 200000 (Two lakh Rupees).

Educational qualification for BHEL Engineer Trainee position is Graduation (in relevant stream) or its equal qualification; certificate should be recognised by Government of India. As on 1.8.2012 applicant age should not be more than 27 years. Upper age relaxation benefits exists for those who belongs to SC, ST, OBC and other reserved category.
BHEL Engineer Trainee Selection Procedure
According to the BHEL notification 2013 applicant must have to apply for GATE 2013 exam and candidates who scored minimum qualifying marks will be select through personal interview.
