Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2013 Details

Arunachal Pradesh Police has invited the applications to recruit the candidates for the post of Fireman from male and female citizens of India. The total number of posts available is 54 which are distributed according to the different posts.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2013

The eligibility criteria required for these posts is based on the following two factors:

Age Limit: The candidates’ age should be in between 18 to 35 years as on 01-01-2013. The age relaxations will be extended to 5 years for APST & SC/ST candidates as per the government rules.

Educational Qualification:
  • Candidates who are applying for the post of Fireman must have atleast matriculation passed certificate.
Selection ProcedureThe eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in following fields:
  • Physical endurance
  • Physical Efficiency Test
  • Written Examination
  • The qualified candidates will be called for Personal interview then. The interview will contain maximum 40 marks. 
  • The final selection will be done on the basis of Medical examination/character and antecedent verification. The candidates who will qualify this test will be finally selected.

How to Apply

The applicants have to first download the application form from the website of Arunachal Pradesh Police at and then they have to fill all the mandatory details in the form. There are 4 passport size photographs required, 1 attached with the form and the other 3 safely enclosed in an envelope with self signature on the backside. Also the attested copies of certificates of educational qualification, age proof, caste certificate and permanent address proof are required to be enclosed with the application form. The self addressed reply envelope affixed with postage stamp of Rs. 5/- received at P.H.Q Itanagar and challan to the given address, PHQ, Itanagar on or before 30-09-2013.
