Deccan Grameena Bank (DGB) is a bank of government constituting of 50% share of Indian government, 35% share of State Bank of Hyderabad and 15% share of Government of Andhra Pradesh. The bank came into existence in the year 2006 on 24th march. The aim of the bank is to render its services for the development of rural areas and the upgradation of families living in that area, mainly those people who live below the poverty line. The bank mainly laid emphasis on Agriculture lending by giving the Kisan Credit Cards. It is also a pioneer in the micro finance. The bank has announced the vacancy for the post of Office Assistants (Multipurpose) & Officer Scale I) from the indian nationals on the basis of common written Examination conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the RRBs in September/October 2013 who has qualified the exam.
  
The pay scale is different for the various posts.

Who can apply? eligibility criteria

The candidate must be an Indian national or a citizen of Bhutan, Nepal or a refugee of Tibet (For more details of the citizenship visit the website).
  
The age limit for Office Assistant is Between 18 years - 28 years, For Officer Scale- I between 18 years - 28 years, For Officer Scale- II between 21 years - 32 years and for Officer Scale- III it is Below 40 years. The relaxation given in the age to the reserved category, OBC, PWD is 5, 3 and 10 years.
  
The educational qualification required for Office Assistant and officer scale I is that the candidate must have the graduate degree and a proficiency in the local language and for the other scales a part from the degree in specialised area, experience is also required. About Recruitment Process

The selection will be made based on the RRBs common written exam, which has been conducted by IBPS in the month of September October 2013 followed by the personal interview.
  
A merit list will be prepared according to the Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in the exam, and the performance of interview under the categories of reserved, unreserved and OBC. For the personal interview, the call will be given by the bank for those candidates who have applied in the bank. The total marks allotted for the interview is 30.
